Last weekend, we debuted our new worship technology: five screens situated around the sanctuary which will be used to display worship texts, lyrics, video, photos, and other media to help worshippers follow along with and engage in the service.
This project was part of our efforts to eliminate paper worship bulletins, with the impact being two-fold: limiting the person-to-person exposure that can result from handing out bulletins at the door, AND lessening our ecological impact by significantly reducing the amount of paper used by the church each week. Thanks to members Brian Wechtenhiser and Mark Rychak who oversaw this project in-house, including design, installation, and implementation.
There will be likely be hiccups as we adapt and adjust to this new worship tool, but we’re confident that they will be a great asset and help our worship to be more interactive!
