Youth/Family Ministry-Believe it or not, Advent and Christmas are sneaking up on us! Our Children’s Christmas Pageant will be held December 18, but the grownups will start their planning and preparation later this month. Our first rehearsal will be during Sunday School on November 27. Talk with Pastor Jonathan for more information!
Church Council–Council set the date for our Annual Meeting for January 15. Christmas Eve is on Saturday this year, and our services will be 4:00, 7:00 and 10:00 PM, with the 4:00 being geared towards children. Sunday, Christmas Day, service will be at 8:45 AM, with lots of hymns sung, and a special Christmas message. Council also continued discussion from previous meetings about what Mt. Calvary’s mission and goals are for the future.
Stewardship/Administration—Gearing down and spending the final months of the year preparing and finalizing the church budget for 2023, always keeping in mind the best use of funds for the good of all, doing God’s work with our hands, and keeping Mt. Calvary on steady footing well into the future.
